Prank Call Torrents
In my last post I whined about there not being enough prank calls torrents in the world and I promised to do something about it. Well here’s my attempt to do something. The following torrents are now available for your downloading pleasure.
Mark Knopfler: Mark Knopfler is a classic prankster from the late 80′s. A few years ago I set up a tribute page where you can post and read comments from other Mark Knopfler fans.
Fightsters – A Little Man’s Love: Here’s the full CD from the prank call group I talked about in my previous post.
Neil Hamburger – Great Phone Calls: Neil Hamburger’s in town! I love this CD. You may remember Neil from a very small scene on stage in the Tenacious D movie. Neil loves to audition for comedy clubs over the phone and he’s so lonely that he drives his local pizza joints nuts.
Captain Janks – The King Of The Cranks: Captain Janks loves Howard Stern just a little too much. But you gotta be impressed with how many live news broadcasts he’s pranked.
Howard Stern Pranks: A bunch of Howard Stern pranks. I found these on some other torrent. I haven’t actually listened to them yet though.
The Ball Busters – No Hang Ups: This is the sequel to a great album by the Ball Busters. Unfortunately I can’t find the original right now so the sequel will have to do. It’s still got some pretty good stuff in it.
The Jerky Boys Discography: Everything the Jerky Boys have ever done.
Phone Losers of America Media Pack: Remember the PLA Media CD? Well here it is without the 700 megabyte limitation! It’s 2.64 gigabytes of all the PLA Radio episodes, PLA TV, hundreds of prank calls, all of the original PLA text files and more.
Bubba The Love Sponge – Ned Only: Bubba is another radio DJ that does prank phone calls. Legend813 sent these to me after I made this post and he tells me these are good.
That’s it for now. One of these days I’ll get around to putting some more torrents up. Download these and seed them for other people to enjoy! And if you’ve got your own prank calls that you’d like to share with the world, create a torrent and post it in the comments section of this post. If you’re too lazy to make your own torrent, mail your prank call tape or CD to RBCP and maybe he’ll do it for you.
If you don’t know how to download a torrent, visit utorrent.com and download their bittorrent client. Once you do that, you’ll be able to click on the prank call torrents listed above and they’ll download for you. You’ll also be able to search for pirated movies, music, software and porn at The Pirate Bay but we don’t condone illegal things like that.
I’m a complete newb with making my own torrents so I hope these work okay. So far there are 2 seeders on the Fightsters torrent, yet neither of those seeders appear to be me. I don’t know when I actually become one for all of these.

Doesn’t the media torrent make the cd obsolete?
Joe – yeah, kind of. I quit offering the PLA Media CD last year because it was really starting to get filled up with copyrighted material since I use so much of that for PLA Radio. I don’t want the RIAA yelling at me for selling their music for $5.00.
I have been giving away PLA Media DVDs to most of the people that have ordered shirts, though. I never made much money from the CDs anyway. And I just used the profits to give away Media CDs for free. I can still do that, though, since the advertisements on this site are picking up the slack. I’ll probably beg murd0c to pass them out at Defcon.
Can´t seem to download the fightsters calls or the bubba calls (those are the only ones i tried). The fighsters torrent gives me this error “Torrent deleted or not in pool yet. Go to demonoid.com and read the faq for more info.”
Hope everyone is enjoying the torrents! They are getting downloaded a lot and right now there’s at least one seeder for every one of the torrents I’ve put up. (And some have 3 or 4)
Legend813 sent me this torrent link for Sol’s Rusty Trombone, which is The Jerky Boys latest release. It’s not included in the Jerky Boys Discography torrent. Here’s some information on it:

I’m downloading the media dvd right now, will seed as long as I can also. It’s going to take me awhile to download, hehe.
Come one people start downloading the pla dvd, I’m almost downloaded and it’s stuck at 86% right now. We need seeders and downloaders. I’ll start seeding as soon as it’s downloaded.
I’ve been serving the Media DVD for almost 2 weeks now and a lot of people have downloaded it. But all the seeders eventually disappear. Right now 9 people are downloading it. Hopefully one of them will turn into a seed for you soon.

Brad needs to get better cable. 2Kb/s upload just blows. No wonder it took two weeks to get the damn torrent.
I been seeding for the past 12hrs at 85Kb/s. So hope this will benefit others.

Does anybody know where I can find the prank tapes from Union College in Schenectady? They are calling Domino’s Pizza mostly. Examples: “Dearth of Sauce”, Half a bottle of coke? Domino’s always asks if they want coca-cola classic or new coke with their order, so you know it is very old.
A guy named Chris from Arkansas used to trade a lot of prank tapes. He has the biggest prank library of underground pranksters. Search for him on a search engine or something.
