The Generic Tortilla Chips and 4 Loko Show for April 20th, 2013

Thanks, Gordo, for sending me the amazing prank call CD known as Melba Comes Alive, which I haven't heard since 1997. And thanks, mysterious stranger in Nebraska for the post card.

Here's the latest solo show by RBCP, which happened on Saturday night. It includes lots of photo customers and the brand new patented PLA trick of calling people on Facebook and doing job reference checks on their Facebook friends.

Here are a couple of our YouTube videos that contain pranks from the previous show...

The song after Metallica at 25: something is a heavy metal version of “Ecstasy of Gold” by Ennio Morricone, from “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.” It’s the music that plays when Tuco finds the graveyard with the money near the end of the film.

But if you were slick enough, you would KNOW that.

On the next The Generic Tortilla Chips and 4 Loko Show, do we get to find out how many fingers Batman can fit into Robin?

Every time I hear Kenny Loggins now I think of you. They play “I’m Alright” on the satellite radio at my job a lot. I don’t think I remember hearing that song you played. Kenny must’ve been especially popular where you grew up I’m guessing. I should have waited until the end of the show to comment so I don’t post a bunch of stuff. :\

I think that song I liked was just popular for maybe a month or two because the Caddyshack sequel came out and the radio was trying to promote it. I have no idea where the song was on the charts and I’m pretty sure that movie bombed. I pretty much forgot about the song for 20 years until I started bringing Kenny Loggins into pranks for reasons that I can’t even remember.

Used to I would just change the station when Kenny came on the radio, but now I laugh every time Danger Zone plays, which seems to happen often when I’m driving and flipping through stations..
